My name is Kai Blue and I am a trans artist from west London, currently based in Todmorden West Yorkshire.

 

I have always painted but really ignited my passion for art when I recently experienced the loss of my father and through my grief found painting.

 

I find it easier to express my feelings, thoughts and emotions through painting. My work allows me to live through my chosen colours, patterns and textures.

 

I get inspirations from all the landscape around me the lighting of the day and night, change in seasons and my mood and feeling.

 

When people look at my work they are often drawn to the piece that they have a emotional connection with or can view it in a completely different way and that’s the true beauty of art
